MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2018-2019) Battery | New / Part Only

New battery works great. Removal and installation was pretty easy after removing the glue from the old battery. The new battery sticky tabs aren’t as strong as I would have liked. Even after waiting 24 hours after cleaning the inside of the battery compartment with ISA, the battery struggled to stick to the inside of the chassis. Other than that, it went very well.

MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2018-2019) Battery | New / Fix Kit

The battery kit is very good, and my MacBook Pro is back to normal. However, after going through all 60 plus steps to basically disassemble most of the laptop, and then reversing the process to put it all back together, I found another instructional video. Looking at, it I learned that all I needed to do was remove only 8 or 10 screws, instead of over 50. Everything stayed in place except the battery, of course, and the system board could be lifted just enough to remove and replace the battery! Only a few cables had to be disconnected, and they dealt only with the battery. Why in the world put your customers through 60 plus steps, disconnecting every cable on the system board and removing that board , when a much more simple process yielded the same result?
